Patricia Alexander is a former military psychologist with over 33 years of experience. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and served in the Air Force in the post-Vietnam era. Her understanding of traumatic brain injury and post traumatic stress disorder comes directly from working with the Army treating soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. For the last 14 years, she specialized in brain injury and trauma and provided treatments that enabled veterans to experience hope and reclaim their lives. Her philosophy is that traumatic brain injury, whatever the source, is a complex disorder requiring intervention on multiple fronts ,coupled with technologies that allow greater access to the brain and it’s functioning – this is the only way to offer hope and light where there has been despair and darkness.
